Premium Notebook "Indian Bouquet"

35,00 €

Very fashionable in the 18th century, Indian fabric gets its name from the trading posts in India where these painted or printed cottons were imported. To protect Lyon silk from this competition, these fabrics were banned for a time, but in 1746, the Koechlin Schmaltzer Dollfus & Cie indienne factory was established in the Republic of Mulhouse, which was not yet attached to France. The Museum of Printed Textiles in the city of Mulhouse preserves this exotic bouquet pattern of Indian fabric.

Since time immemorial, all the great figures of History have confided in their notebooks. Even today, these notebooks with floral or botanical designs invite everyone to introspection. You can jot down your royal thoughts in them...
