The end-of-year celebrations that have just concluded allowed us to make this happy observation: a pop-up store of "Collège Royal, the brand of Stéphane Bern" was established in Thiron-Gardais, prominently located on the street, awaiting the renovations that will transform the old bakery into a tea room and shop. Indeed, while the products of the "Collège Royal" brand attract an ever-growing audience on the dedicated online store or in the orangery during the opening months of the College – from May to September – the pop-up store at 10 rue de l’Abbaye drew many customers during the holiday season.

These customers were eager to experience the home fragrances created through a collaboration with Quintessence Paris or the soaps, to appreciate the quality of the cushions, aprons, dish towels, or tissue box covers and other pouches crafted on-site with the historical fabrics from maison Casal, and to admire the delicate work of the pieces made by our partner Reliac Paris, not to mention the opportunity to have my latest books signed. Who knows, perhaps one day we will offer you the chance to breathe in the scents of a unisex perfume named after me…

Furthermore, Yori Bailleres and I were so pleasantly surprised by the success of our dachshund socks made in France that we decided to extend this range featuring our two dachshunds Mirza and Scoop. After the "Scoopy" cushion in a tartan print, we are considering launching a "dachshundized" apron, a dachshund mug, a soap featuring our dachshunds, and even a collection of dachshund t-shirts… so that you will be ready for the dachshund march, the famous "Sausage Walk." By the way, tartan prints seem to be in vogue, probably because Collège Royal has fans in the Highlands; plaids and cushions in the tartans of Scottish clans should soon bloom in the shop!

This experience shows the necessity of renewing the experience and multiplying the moments of encounter in this pop-up store, the days and hours of which you will find on this website in the "shop" section. I sincerely believe that nothing beats human contact and the opportunity for everyone to see the quality of our products that reflect a way of life inspired by History and create added heritage value.
