Why write your diary in a chosen notebook...

As far back as I can remember, I have always written. Dozens of letters, but also a diary, constantly interrupted, constantly resumed over the years. The art of writing one's journal and committing to it daily is a delicate art. It requires rigor and regularity. And, dare I confess, the medium adds to its charm.

For this appointment we make with ourselves, day after day, we need the best quality paper, the right line spacing, not to mention the most attractive cover. It is in this spirit, and to stay true to the 18th-century essence of the "Royal College," that we initially imagined two notebooks, silent witnesses of our lives, to record each person's intimate thoughts and secret impressions: a bouquet for the queen and a bouquet in the Indian style. Then we created soft notebooks, inspired by the fabric printing museum in Mulhouse, and more contemporary notebooks with monochrome illustrations.

Now these notebooks accompany me daily like the most discreet of confidants.

All recent scientific studies prove it, and psychiatrist Christophe André confirms it in a radio chronicle: writing in a diary is good for mental health, it helps to take stock of one's emotions, reduces stress, helps achieve goals, strengthens memory, stimulates creativity, develops emotional intelligence, boosts the immune system, and reduces the risk of depression. So, don't hesitate any longer and go for it!
